I feel entrepreneurship is the heart beat of this country! Small businesses are the largest employer in America, and if it wasn't for people brave enough to take on such a feat, we would be a lot worse for the wear.
My first job I can think of was with a gentleman who ran a small candy business. He was what I consider a serial entrepreneur. He was the type of person who was constantly looking for a great idea, and act on it. I find it surprising how many people in America are ready to dive into a new business, and make it succeed. While in school at Santa Fe College, my Economics professor was one of those people. He had started and succeeded at a plethora of businesses around the country to include making and distributing bleach, opening pizza places, and producing bio-diesel. Some he was successful at, and some he was not.
I hope to get out of this class a better understanding of how to start a small business. I have an ambition to start business cooking "Low Country Boil" at festivals. This class should help me get organized, and motivated to tackle that undertaking.

Whats up Patrick, I definitely agree that entrepreneurialism is essential not just to our country but to our species in general. They are the innovators and creatives that help spark revolutions. It seems you've been lucky enough to be exposed to entrepreneurship personally several times which is great to hear. I also hope this course will help organize me and get me on the right path to being a successful entrepreneur. if you can check out my post http://ent3003brandonsanchez.blogspot.com/2016/01/my-entrepreneurship-story.html
